Unfortunately, not everyone is the ideal candidate for contact lenses. There are certain conditions that present difficulties– though these can be addressed.  These include any form of astigmatism, presbyopia, dry eyes, giant papillary conjunctivitis, post-refractive surgery, and keratoconus. These things don’t mean that you can’t wear contacts, just that additional steps should be taken for successful wear.
